How many of you are self-proclaimed Chocoholics? How many of you are MEN?? For they don't seem to appreciate the finer aspects of chocolate like women do (in my experience). Yes there are RARE men who do appreciate the silkiness, the dark flavor, the sweetness of it.

But I love chocolate - Godiva, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Fanny Mae (occasionally), See's - any QUALITY chocolate is good... I think white chocolate is for wusses... Dark is for hard core. (That would be me... hard core chocolate! YUM!)

Opinions?

http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/No...ML/001853.html

I don't just love chocolate, I have pornographic dreams about it. :evilaugh2: I like chocolate the way most people like to breathe. I NEED chocolate. I always have it in my home.

and like whisky, there is different levels of quality. And I like the best.

I WAS a total chocoholic. Never a day passed by without me cramming chocolate in my face. As a child it was Mars bars; as I grew older I graduated to better quality chocolate, finishing up with a decided preference for European type chocolate. Belgian...
Anyway, something odd has happened over the past 3-4 years - I've slowly lost the taste for it. I still like a little now and again, but I am no longer a chocoholic. Don't know if it's my age or my digestive system! Sad, ain't it?

LOL Charean, I saw your reply to Rudy's "Homer Simpson" thread regarding Godiva Chocolates and am relieved that we do not live near the mall or frequent it as much during the summer months!
Being reminded of their existence, I have to admit:
I would crawl on my hands and knees for that stuff!

I am certainly a chocaholic!
My favorite is Green & Blacks Organic chocolate - really high cocoa solids content. And environmentally friendly.

Butterscotch chocolate for me. Yum yummie
Here in Holland you got a brand of chocolate called Milka. I really like the regular ones of those, the praline fillings and the new wafer chocolate bars.
Did I mention that they come in really large bars too? Well, they do

I'm a (male) chocolate lover and proud of it!
