You can join, get 5 or 6 books for a dollar and the only requirement is to buy two more books (actually the book clubs are all different, just using an example) in the next two years. The books are below retail cost, so it's great. After I'm in a book club for awhile and when I fulfill the requirement, I quit and before you know it, they are sending me something in the mail to join again. I currently have about 20 books that I haven't read yet, including "The Dark Elf Trilogy" and "Legacy of the Drow" by R. A. Salvatore.

Bookclubs?! NO! NO! I went cold turkey on bookclubs... I don't have the craving anymore... (chewing fingernails frantically) No.... no craving... no... craving.. no........ crav... cold turkey....

No computer???? ACK!!!! After suffering severe withdrawl I would probably read even more than I do now (which is a lot). Probably more TV. Pick up my cross-stitching again. Write more. Draw more. Remember what my cats look like. Stuff like that.

I was Watching 7 Day's on upn 9 in New York
when thay set off a bomb
killed the whole world and tock out anything with
a computer in it
thay were something like a mile underground
and that had to travle across the count to get
to there time michine

And I started to think what I would do if I lived
and there were no more computers
I know I would go nuts
then when I come back to mysulf I would read
nothing use to do

I'd be aware of the birds the cats brought in before they de-featherd them in the front room.

I'd be able to keep them from playing plum-hockey on the dining room table.

I'd hear them climbing my plant stands before they knock down pots with sentimental value and break them.

I'd pet them more.

I'd play with them more.

I'd get more work done on a daily basis, that's for sure!

I'd probably even scan the satellite guide to see what good movies are on that I have been missing.

Not the plum hockey. Everything else though! The plants, the feathers (the entrails!), etc.

And Ozzie would lose. He's a coward. He even runs away from squirrels! But show him something smaller, weaker, and slower than he is and, boy - he's a killer!

But I HAVE had cats that could give yours a VERY good game! Only they found ping-pong balls rolled better and made more noise, lol!
