I think everyone has some phobia of failure and unrealised dreams. But not to the extent that my mind takes it. I was kinda waiting for this thread to wade into deeper waters (bad pun) before i brought this up. I don't like using the word "low-lives" but i know many in the generation above who fit the shoe and it scares the hell out of me thinking about the very real possibility of becoming one. I think it ties in with my public humiliation fear. The thought of people in generations to come looking at me in the way i look at some in the generation above. I don't want to become that weird loner. Or the dole-bludging drug @#$%d loser with a brood mare missus. I'm kinda bumbling through life at the mo, knowing that i'm gonna achieve something - but that something can wait 'til tomorrow. Alarm bells are ringing. Know what i mean?

I'm scared of things that might jump on me, like grasshoppers or toads or huntsmen. It isn't a phobia because I don't really avoid stuff and it doesn't impact my life but I really don't like them.

Being helpless in helping a human being and have to watch them die. (have had nightmares about it several times)
Be a disapointment to someone I respect (already happened to many times in my life).
Get old and become a burden on someone... (shoot me before I have to use adult dipers, please...)
