IIRC, we drew the last match, agreed to share the trophy, with England being 4 points ahead in the group table

*Arrives late on the scene*

WOW what a bloody series!!!! Australia played well below par and will do better but I thought the warnings of the way England bowled at Lords where ignored till to late. England played above themselves .... but all said and done the best team won. You do realise 80% of this boards members where not even born when England last won the ashes?

While there is IMO no need to worry about replacement Australian batsmen in the next few years, the lack of a good bowlers (esp. a quality seamer) has me worried. From what I have seen of the Sheffield shield these last few years no one really springs to mind.

So England have finally replaced Botham (about time) Who will replace knott/Russel? Surely there is some one who can keep and bat?

Anyhow enough of this cricket nonsense .... Lets get back to soccer

Ahhhh! More self delusion, as long as you are happy you won't change anything before the next series.

Please don't think we can't play better. We still have spot at No 3 to be confirmed and the keeper is dodgy. Plus our boys are still learning.

The victory parade has just been on the TV, Flintoff got back to the hotel at 06:00 this morning, and hasn't stopped drinking all night, he staggered onto the bus this morning, pieterson wasn't much better off .
