I hope this murder gets lots of press, and can be proven that his spamming activity was the cause. Maybe it will weed out a few of those cruddy little blighters. Failing that, we can probably see a few more of these 'incidents' happening in the future as some really tetchy people go and vent their wrath on the scum of the earth.

It might sound wrong to say this, but I have more sympathy for the guy who committed murder than the guy who spams countless emails. Karma is a bitch.

No. Just no. [/QUOTE]Okay, maybe not. But let us hope that this encourages spammers to stop spamming in fear of getting killed.

I like this idea. I like it alot.

Sounds like suicide to me. That's my verdict and I'm sticking to it...

from SpamCop newsgroup:

Before you start to wonder if SpamAssassin really does what it says on the tin, apparently, there has been a progress with the investigation.

It appears that this accident has nothing to do with spamming, but is rather an ordinary robbery: the guy met some girls, brought them home, was drugged by them, their accomplices then came, killed the guy (who was, probably, given an insufficient dosage - and was waking up at that point), took the valuables and left. The russian speaking internet community though is quite astir, since this guy was notorious.
