Best of all, I got it for the equivalent of $1500 US, down from $3000 as I salary packaged it.

I'm LOVING this laptop, except for one small annoying detail: the USB 2.0 ports are recessed under the top edge of the laptop to hide them from view (so they can put a little rubber removable cover on them and protect them presumably). This means that when I plug my Creative MuVo MP3 player into it, it doesn't plug all the way in because the bloody top edge of the laptop gets in the way!!! Basically, if your MP3 player's casing is significantly wider on the wrong side of the USB plug, it won't fit all the way. Not the smartest thing to do, to recess those ports.

But aside from that I love it. I just have to buy a thinner USB extension cable.

I'd like to buy a laptop, but I've heard they're inadequate for gaming. Could somebody clarify please, as I'm completely clueless when it comes to things like this!
