Does anyong have any suggestions on a place in the Balders Gate City
to store extra scrolls and potions. I used one of the houses in Bergost for most of the game , but thats a bit far away. What about
Sunin's House in the southwest corner? It seems empty since the poor fellow passed on.

I would try to find a house you can rest in. The house in Beregost directly across from the Red Sheaf Inn is such a place (the owner offers to let you use his home). As big as BG city is I would imagine there must be a house like that there too.

In one of my games I have a party in the big city and I'm finally getting around to doing all the stuff there that I never checked out in the first and only SP game I ever finished. I'll let you know if I find a house like that.

I don't like that leaving stuff in chests and barrels on the street or in a bar thing because it is utterly unrealistic. I mean I'm not a roleplaying fanatic, but if there is a way to store stuff that is more plausible within a roleplayed approach I'd try to find it. Outside of Baldur's Gate city, another thing you can do is to take Kagain into the party for a while. Then you can use his store (it's full of cabinets).

I tend to use the Thieves' Guild. Plenty of storage, conveniently located next to Sorcerous Sundries and the Elfsong, and nice and empty now that the Theives are--um--gone. (washes sword)

LOL!

Took me ages (and many play-throughs) to work out how _not_ to massacre the thieves.

On my first game round, I did the theives and became their golden boy. On my latest game, I got the password wrong...went in that building by accident, and didnt know it...from then on, they were enemies, so I had to slaughter them all!

It seems like the Shop of Silence would be such a place... She even says you can stay for free.
