At the risk of sounding stupid...
What does QED mean?
I've heard people use it all teh time, but i have no idea what it means.
Maybe taht is just because I'm not all taht great at english... even though it is the only language I really know...

It's latin. It means something like : Was has to be proved ! ( Sorry, if the english sentence isn't right. But I hope you know what I mean )

Well...in college, our 400+ level math profs would use it at the end of a long drawn out math proof - I was told that it was loosely translated as Thus It Has Been Proven That (Whatever was trying to be proved).

$80K Liberal Arts Education Degree in Math and this is the best of what I got out of it...sad...
