...My friend tried to get me to watch Samurai Champloo...I couldn't stomach it, despite the fact that Jin is hilarious...

Some anime is incredibly well drawn, too...so it's more of a stylistic thing. It annoys me, though, when they have oversights like letting you see eyes through hair or the like.

Mostly, though, I don't really like the way anime lenghtens the story by 50%. That's the way EVERY SINGLE ONE works...and I cannot stand Gundam and the like...or the series about high school teens who are involved in weird love triangles...

Nope, just the shows I listed. That's it

There was that guy who was beat-boxing, though.
Uh, anime. I haven't really watched television much, recently, nor anime. I remember I liked the Dragon Ball stuff, when I was younger, but now it's a bit annoying. I agree the story-lengthening, too, Poo.

I'm a fan of CBB as well. I also love Initial D, Ghost in the Shell (both the movies and the serials), Trigun, Akira, PlanetES, and Evangelion.

Honourable mention to Xenosaga, Macross Plus, Legend of Galactic Heroes, Area 88, and Seikai no Senki (I and II; Battle Flag of the Stars)

Virtually everything about anime is superior to the usual saturday morning kids stuff - better plot, better music, and better animation. The stories are often about stuff I'm interested in as well - technological issues and sci-fi.

The production standards are something that studios like Pixar are catching on to as well.

I like alot of anime, though there are alot that should be burned
I used to love dragon ball z, but I eventually got sick of having to wait 10 episodes to see who won a fight.

Recently though, I have gotten into:
*Yu-Yu-Hakusho
*Gundam(again)
*Full metal Alchemist
*and I have watched a bit of Twelve Islands aswell.

Love all the Ninja scroll stuff as well

I've never gotten into Anime really. The emotional outburst of the characters and the special effects are too exagerrated.

Yet those are the beaty of anime . I guess you either like it or you don't.

My absolute favourite anime series is Hellsing. Its just pure genius, and I also happen to really be into vampire related things. I've watched the series over several times already

Another favourite is Dragonball(Z/GT), in that order. The reason for the order being that Dragonball doesn't take itself as seriously as the following Sagas. It's entertaining combat with loads of humour...just gotta love it . Z and GT start getting a bit repeatitive towards the end, but some of the fight seens are pretty cool
