RE: Edit/Delete Time Limit & Smiley Limit

A new feature has been implemented in the Ironworks Forums. Members have a 30 minute period after a post to edit/delete their posts as they please. After the 30 minute window however, they will be unable to edit/delete their posts.

This is still in the trail stage, so it may be changed in the future.

Secondly, there is currently a limit of 8 smilies per post. It is being edited to 25 at this point, but 8 is the current limit.

Here's why.

The smilies, I dunno. My guess would be because of the peope who still have dial-up connections.

When my computor had to go for reppairs, it came back with a very slow conncetion, and it is annoying halfway through reading something and having in suddenly move as smileys up load.
Takes me ages to find my place again

It is a preventive measure to ensure that trolls do not take advantage of the edit/delete system to cover up their tracks.
