Also, I think there's a slight difference between sunglasses and symbols of the satanic church. It is my personal opinion that anyone wishing to associate themselves with the incarnation of evil in any way is either a kid (too young/stupid to understand) or is a major low-life since human nature is too be good in order to make people happy while they are for being evil - i.e. they suck big time as human beings. I certainly hope no one is like that here.

No, i don't think it's cool to be bad, and i'm not evil. I like the inverted cross, becuase it shows i'm different, it shows individuality. I take comments like that seriosly, becuase i get alot of stick for those kind of things at school, and from friends, they don't understand - i'm no satanist. I wear the cross, for the reasons above, and plus it has a perdy design on it Now you, obveously do think it's cool to be a git or something, i'd appologised for what i said, and you went and braught it back up. So, you seem to me, to be the kind of person who thinks it's cool to be bad, now please, just let it rest, and move on.

I giv'em a 75% chance of winning the case, Alabama ain't the sue capital of the USA for nut'n. Folks shouldn't be surprised at this at all, "Hale" we got people that blame Big Oil for things, yet they use the products Big Oil sells. Same for Big Tobacco, Mircosoft, WalMart, (incert business of choice here).
These folks have lost a loved-one and want somebody to pay, problem is the person responsible for their lost can't pay. Now there is going to be a jury made up of people that will "feel" sorry for the victims families and their loss. What chance does a big business have against that after all they have money so they should spread it around, in the minds of MOST people. If anybody doubts my asessment(sp?) of that, just con-tem-plate (southern for think) on what you hear people say about rich and taxes, or Big Business, (incert scapegoat of choice here). Then ask yourself why should it be any differant just because it's about a game that you happen to like vs. about something you don't like or agree with, like cigarettes? LEST, anybody think I'm saying the game is the reason, I'm going to say "THE GAME IS NOT AT FAULT". The fault lies with a sack of horse manure human, that felt it was ok to kill for what ever reason his punkin' mind could justify. With any luck he will be ridin' OLE YELLAR (Alabama's Electric chair) before he dies of old age in prison.

I think it's funny that they included Sony as a defendant since the kid played the game on his PS2. I want to sue Sony too, because I played Parappa, thought I could dance, and ended up breaking my ankle.

The way I see it, it is the parents fault for failing to recognize that their kid isn't mature or intelligent enough to tell the difference between video games and life. The game is rated M to tell the parents that it is recomended for people over the age of 17. Personally, I am under 17, but I play some M games, since my parents recognize that I can tell the difference. I haven't (so far ) had the urge to go on a killing spree or anything

If a game makes someone do something like that they are clearly unstable, the game is trigger, not a cause, and if it had not trigger it another thing may have. Its the same with film violence.
