I'd go for "Glenneth", two in one, You get one part Glen and one part Kenneth! whats not to like?

My ex knew someone named "Glenneth", I coulden't stop laughing for half an hour when she told me

EDIT: Hmmm, maybe it just sounds funny in swedish... no offense to anyone out there named Glenneth..

listen to Bungleau,
and please don't name them anything combination-like, like "Amy-lee" or "Someone-Ann".
And not an overused name.

Personally if i had to change my name i would change it to "Chris", maybe "Christian" for longer, but I'll live with "Luke", bah.

For the XY combo, I would suggest "Drew." I'm rather partial to that name....

So...how's this for odd...We really haven't discussed names about the baby with our three-year-old son, or around him, either (trying to curb the jealousy thing a bit (like that will happen(every have so many of these you don't know how to stop?))). He came up last week and asked if baby Chelsea was big enough to come out and play now...

So...who wants to put bets on the baby being a girl?? I asked him what if it was a boy and he just laughted (softly) and told me "you're so silly"...out of the mouths of babes...

Anyways, thought I would pop in and say hi

HI

later

For a boy: Troy or Ivan

For a girl: Helen or Elizabeth

(the Helen and Troy thing is a coincidence)

LOL! Perhaps he knows something you don't...

When my son was on the way, we prepared my daughter for his arrival by singing songs about it. We knew he was a son, so...

*singing*
Corbin James
will be here soon
and you won't have
to share your room.

Corbin James
he is your brother
he comes from
your dad and mother

Corbin James
is a baby boy
he'll bring us
lots of love and joy

*/singing*

That seemed to make it easier for her (or at least us) to deal with the impending arrival.

Hiya, all. Quick update on the Kiddy front. Seems my 3 year old was right...gonna be a girl. So Chelsea Nicole Ruth Crall it will be in about oh...95 days...suppose I better start on the crib...the wall paper....the dresser...what? Oh yeah...got to go see some movie....Star something...

And I have to try to find room for my computer somewhere else in the house. My lovely wife has just vetoed the computer coming into our bedroom and for some reason, she doesn't think the computer should be in the babies new room....no basement in our house (I know, that's what I said when we bought it, but it was too good a price not to)....and do we REALLY need a dining room??

Oh, and did I mention that I just traded in my '99 Black GTE Mustang Convertible on a

.....wait for it

.....sigh....

'05 Town and County minivan....oh the horror....I still tear up a little...but with us with three kids and our other car not being able to fit and we could get a lot more for our trade-in vs what was owed...still sucks, though. Especially in the middle of summer. Not that I'm too bitter...much...

Anyways, baby is doing well ... mother is cranky and starting to get not too comfortable.

Later, all.
