That is what the preview function is for. VERY useful when you have a lot of coding in your post. I use it quite often, since I use HTML and UBB code frequently.

I also make use of Notepad when I need to type out a long post. Makes it more coherent to go through.

Magic Resistance will not prevent INT-Drain. Immunity to the weapon enchantment used to inflict the INT-Drain will protect you though.

If the player wants to frantically switch weapons everytime he wants a Magic Resistance boost, do so by all means. It is troublesome, especially when you consider the effects are wildly random, often catching you by surprise.

That is what Edit function is for .

I said that there are items and spells that set MR to a fixed value or raise it. Carsomyr is one of them, and a bad example (I've forgotten that Tymora's Gamble is also a weapon). A player could circumvent nullifying effect of Tymora's Gamble by equipping one of these items or casting one of these spells.

The INT drain was just a comparison, read Annatar's post again.

This is where the weapon comes into play. Each time you swing the weapon, it resets your Magic Resistance to 0%( same as Carsomyr); making it next to impossible to have any Magic Resistance when an ill-effect occurs.

Of course, it would be impossible to equip both weapons anyway, making it a moot point.

But still, there are many MR increasing items out there in BG II SoA - ToB... but Dundee has a great point there.

When will Gamble see the light of day Dundee?

Sounds good Dundee
I'd give it a few tries at least, before I become afraid of it and throw it at someone.
And watch them BURN!!!! AHAHHAHAHAHA!!
Or become stone.
Where can I get one?

Well, I was hoping somebody else would help me make this, as I am still not familiar with item-making.

Help you? You mean you will not create it?

The brunt of the work always falls on Ann and me...

We will be honored to create your weapon Dundee

Though we need time to create it, because I have like 3 or 4 projects running and they all need my attention (though it will not take to long to create it because all the other weapons/items I create need some tinkering.. yours is easy compared to the others I've seen)

We (Me and Vedran) will keep you posted.
