Stuff keeps disapearing!!...*SpOiLeRs*

Hmmm...i dunno if this is something one of the patches will fix, but am not sure as i keep getting sidetracked and forget to download the damn thing!

Righty whats happening is that certain items seem to disapear - it started with Jaheria, whenever she died she seemed to lose her +2 sling (ie when resurected and stuff was picked up, no sling!) - but that wasn't too much of a problem cos they cost peanuts anyway.

But the thing that really annoyed me is when i finally had both bits to the Gesen bow - i left the underdark and sped to Athalka to see Mr.Cromwell...only when i got there i realised that the Gesen bow string was missing....i know i had it when i came out of the underdark....and now *sob* its gone!

Fought any Nishruus lately? Got the Baldurdash Fixpack yet?

I fought a Nishru a while back, but it didn't last long!...and at the moment i ain't got any patches installed (i know i know!), so its probably my own fault!

Heard about this bug before, and I don't think there excists a patch for it. You could try a complete reinstall, and see if that will fix it. If that doesn't work, I guess you'll have to use CLUA or SK to get the missing items back.

ShadowChild, do have TDD? because IIRC TDD has a creature that when it hits you, you drop your weapon in use (some kind of elemental)

Otherwise, Nishruus have the annoying ability to ''consume'' magical weapons and trinkets in your inventory (in the un-patched version of SoA, they suppose to consume memorized spells, not magical equipment)

Patch your game with official and the Baldurash patch, this will probably fix it. And use SK to give yourself the equipment back.

Failing a saving throw against certain spells (e.g. Horror) sometimes cause a character to drop items, and if you don't notice it on the ground right away they'll disappear after some time. In one of my games Jaheira was so frightened she shook right out of her +1 Field Plate! Could this have possibly happened to you?
