Does anyone know why Firefox doesn't play animated gifs anymore? it onky displays the first frame and with all the cool sigs here it's not much fun... [img]smile.gif[/img]

This seems to happen randomly to alot of people...
Do you have any extensions or themes installed? What OS are you running? And do you have any important bookmarks? Also, if you visit the URL about:config , and type "animation" into the filter up the top, what value does it list for image.animation_mode ? [ 12-13-2004, 11:33 PM: Message edited by: LennonCook ] |

And, to add to LennonCook's laundry list:
Are you using Firefox 1.0 production release Gecko/20041107 (check Help -> About Firefox), or a nightly build? Or some pre-release build? I used to have that problem sporadically until 1.0 -- now I'm golden (in both Windows and Linux (FreeBSD, actually [img]graemlins/thumbsup.gif[/img] )) |
