That's not all. Tell him that a guy who lives in Cuba told you that the Cubans speak using the same dialogue as well, though some of the Cuban language also borrows terms from Portugeese, it's mostly mexican-style Spanish. Spain, in this case, is the minority in its ability to speak. if your professor things that "Colour" Should be spelled "COLOR" Then tell him he's being a hypocrit. Languages become modified with the distance of the place of origin. For goodnes sake, Spanish wouldnt even be in South America if it hadnt been for rugged, loose-jawned Mayan-slayin' explorers. So they're Spanish is the spanish they'll speak and that's that. lol
