If you don't like this do not read it. All is done without cheating or editors or etc - just in the game play:
The game: Soa with official Patch + ToB with official patch
The end result: you own as much money as you want

The Character needed: Thief
The items needed: Potions of master thievery, some expensive items
What to do:
Go to the sewers under the temple district. There you'll find someone who sells potions. Now rise your Pick pocket ability over 180 with the potions. Now begin selling your expensive stuff to the potion seller. After that steal them back. Then sell them agaian. Now steal them back ...

What a great idea. It suprises me that nobody else has thought of this before.

You sir, are a genius.

And speaking of money...

Note: No shadowkeeper/cheats. Just bugs

Dace, is that the bag of holding you have in the very bottom left hand corner of your inventory, or is it something else, because I believe you get it in the maze of spellhold and Yoshimo leaves you before you get there...

You can do the same trick with the shadowthief merchant (just infront of the entrace) in Renal Bloodscalp his compound in the Docks District.

I always keep Yoshi with me just to do that particular trick... then when I have enough money... I drop his sorry ass.. .

A little Guide how 2 do:
*
Fresh from the Play House, you go to the Adv. Mart sell al your stuff to him, buy one expensive item (+3 potions of master thievery).

Proceed to the Docks District (you first need to do chit-chat with Gaelan Bayle), locate Renal Bloodscalp his Thief Guild Compound.

Enter and talk to the black hooded thief just in front of you, sell the expensive item... let yoshi gulp down 3 potions of master thievery.

Talk to her with yoshi, go to the steal menu and steal away.

When your inventory is filled with loot, just sell it to her, because she will buy stolen merchandise...

Feel free to do this as long as you want... you can do it until the potions lose there strength (3 hours game time)

When you have enough money (like 50000 GP) go to the Adv. Mart and buy some expensive stuff from Deidre (Bonus Merchant), return to the thief compound and sell your expensive stuff... steal--->sell--->steal--->sell...ect.ect.ect

In no time your GP would look like this $$ - 98442145 - $$

*

Talking about cheesy ways to get money .

Problem is that you can soon afford everything and that takes almost all the challenge out. The method I used a few games ago (hangs head in shame) *1. Get the Gloves of Pickpocket.
2. Go to the clueless shadow-thief looking lady just outside the Five Flagons (I have never failed with only 105% PP)
3. Sell/Steal Sword of Chaos about 50 times, at 900 per steal.
4. Go to Copper Coronet and buy Defender of Easthaven, the most expensive one, and one I wanted anyway.
5. Go back to Bridge District, sell/steal DoE, 9000/steal.*

BTW, a little stealing trivia of which you are probably already aware:* If you steal the Crossbow of Speed, once you get to Bernard's Secret StashTM, he will have another. Kind of handy if you have a couple crossbow characters, unless you really like accumulating over 1000 Bolts of Biting...*

It is indeed a bag of holding I usually hack one into my game at the start, simply to stop me having to arse around with inventory space. I also have the ease of use mod installed, so its possibly redundant to do it... but hej, who cares

And for those of you 'special people' who know everything, anyone willing to guess what the characters boots are

I see... just as I suspected.

*cough*cheater*cough*

Sorry, I seem to have come down with a cold.

And about the boots, I really don't know but they look kind of like the boots of grounding, (I think that's their name) but I'
m probably wrong. I'm definitely not one of those people who knows everything. I haven't even finished the game. Just thought I'd take a wild shot at it.

Blah, blah, one of the item upgrades from the Items Upgrade Mod. Boots of the Hornet if memory serves me well.
