There are alot of people who just failed their 53rd attempt at beating Thunderhead Keep(when you get there, call on us, ok?) so they go off all angry and riled up. IF you ask them have they beaten the game yet, prepare for a barrage of swears and curses and mentions of your family 4 generations before you.
Lately, I've been hanging in the International Districts. Especially in LA, as part of The Boat Crew You should try it some times.

LOL Becha you were there for the Tormentor 15K update protest as well hehehehehehe.

We have a pretty sweet group of guildies and have never had a problem with Thunderhead keep. easyiest setup for victory that I have found is the following

2 warriors
2 rangers
2 monks
2 necros/ele/mes

Basically when you get to the keep itself you split in 3.

1 warrior/1 ranger/1 monk @ each door. Ranger trapps the hell out of each door. Warior beats on anything taht comes near the door. monks heal them.

The ele/necro/mes stay in the middle and support each door with nukes/ minons etc.

Keep the king up on the stairs as he is not infused and will die pretty quick with Mursatt around.

Also Pray that the monk mursatt boss doesnt turn up.

Yeah, I spent 5 hours at Thunderhead Keep before getting it right.

What was the most frustrtating is that people keep giving up. I think it took 4 tries before we managed to get to the keep without anyone leaving. We managed to get to the last boss with only 4 members once.

About the Warrior/Monk combo. I disagree, it's a pretty nice build if played right. The problem is that there are tons of newbie picking it up without knowing how to play, they just cast mending, charge off like idiots and get killed. A good warrior/monk can really help your group.

Yeah my W/Mo only uses mending for running. When fighting I use either Balth Spirt to help charge my Adrenalin skills or Strength of Honor to Boost my damamge.

The reason I keep my enchants up is because I have a Max +45 heath -2 dmg received while enchanted sheild.

Yep, was there, stomping atop the frog doing male necro dance and all. Then I got my 15k and was happy.
And I never said anything to suggest W/Mos are a bad build. I myself have a Warrior, most frequently a /Mo, /N or /E, and I know how effective they can be. It's just that I've seen far too many bad ones to not have any predjudice. I will accept a W/Mo in my group if I need someone to tank, but before heading out he will almost always be subject to a thorough questioning. If at any point he uses "!11!!", "1337" or anything similar without the connotations of a humorous remark, he is insta-kicked.

How rare are purple items in this game? Just saying cuz I found one at level 6 and was hard pressed to believe they could be that rare since I found one so low. It's a stave I can't use so I have no idea what to sell it for. vendor says 20g : /.

White is extremly common
Blue is common or crafter/quest weapons
Purple is uncommon
Golds are rare
Greens are Boss items

Depending on the mods that are on that purple staff you will either sell it to merchant OR salvage the mods with an expert salvage kit.

You will see your first gold just before the Gates of Kryta mission. It will not be max damage, not even near it, but that is where most players pick up thier first(all 4 of my chars managed to get their first there). You can be extremely lucky with purples, I found a +5 Insightful on a purple staff in the jungle, and that was one very lucky drop.
So, to get things straight:
White and blue: from the start of the game
Purple: I got my first at Nolani. Purples will always have a mod.
Gold: Kryta onwards. Golds will always have two mods.
Max Damage: From Droknar's Forge and all the later areas.
Green: In Grenth's Footprint and Sorrow's Furnance, drops from bosses. They are max damage, max bonus mod and with two perfect mods. They are unmoddable and uncolorable.
If you don't know where something is, don't ask cause you'll get there eventually and you'll only want to cheat and run yourself there.
