I was furious and let everyone in the store know it as I was dragged off to be booked. "WTF is dis!" I yelled, "Dis BS crap lies and scamz, you suxors Guild Wars!". Never again will I believe anything I read about a game. My world has come crashing down. My lack of comprehension confuses and infuriates me!

Point?
A point fairly well made, I'd say. Nice.

edit : testing sig pic
But it's harder, and it rule out most regular battle net kiddie that just download the bot on the net.

To make sure you are 18. Many websites are doing this now when you want to view game content that is for MA ratings.

Sorry crimson, but your rant is misplaced. It IS free for 2 weeks. They do not charge you if you cancel. So what is the big deal? AOL does this, Realplayer does this as do most trial periods. Its the way of the future guys..

Some people are still petrified of using their credit cards online. While I agree an amount of caution is called for, the risk is actually higher when handing your card to a waiter in a resturaunt since he/she could easily scribble down your details, leave the job and go on a spree.

With a company as established as Blizzard it is in fact, safer and you can be rest assured that your card holds nothing even remotely close to the cash they have made on profits alone in this past year.

My Rant is because I just finished a $21,000.00 law suit due to credit card theft on AOL and That they Have been bugging me with for two years and I have never used AOL.The so call BofA credit card wasn't even mine (by the way I won and don't have to pay but it screwed my credit up for TWO years.) The SOB that used it is in another country but the low life suckers at AOL still tried to get me to pay for a credit card bill on a credit card I never owned threw a bank I never ever delt with. I have three credit cards and don't use them. I use checks and cash when I buy anything except for my home of corse. IMHO for some one to offer something free there alot of otherways other than credit cards to verify age such as my Virginia Drivers Lisence which doesn't have any contact with my bank account or my SSN. But is a much better way of finding out someones age other than a credit card that any one can make and scam companies and people out of their money and vise versa!!!

Well that explain things better... But then again driver's licence are not perfect. For example, the billing thing would have to be able to handle the driver licenses of every country in the world, that's a lot of work while credit cards are already all over, that's easier.

I hate the dependency on credit cards too, because I don't have one, but I don't see any perfect solutions.
