Congratulations, Rev. I know how you feel, and we just have the one 5 year old. Afternoon, everybody. Congratulations to you, too, Jen, going to Alaska, you lucky girl.

Woohoo! Glad to hear that, RevRuby! They're a blessing, but I know I've been blessed enough...

And Luvian, I'd explain to the student that next time he's late, he still pays for the lesson. Give him a warning this time, and let him know that the next will be different. It shows little respect for your time or knowledge...

'Course, that's easy to say. I have a hard time playing the bad guy with customers, but sometimes, it has to be done. Being reasonable (establishing the rate for the next time) is, I think, the best way to handle it.

Spot on what i was going to say Bungleau

There is that first chill in the air tonight of summer saying goodbye and autumn aproaching. Many say spring is the best season but for me 'fall' wins hands down!

Nice. I used to like driving down to Bowral at the beginning of Autumn. The trees down there are well nice. There was a pub as well. The name escapes me..........

It is nice around Bowral and the trees are nice with there falling leaves (rare in OZ). But I have always wanted to visit 'new england' USA at fall for the colour of their trees.

This is the best time of year IMO for motorbike rides going south. Not to hot in the day and empty country roads everywhere untill the ski season starts.

Wellard, the New England Fall is absolutely gorgeous! I spent alot of my childhood there and even upstate NY is pretty gorgeous when the leaves change color. It's definitely a place to visit if you like autumn!

Yeah, I nominate New Hampshire for prettiest fall color. We celebrate both spring and fall, here, though spring is usually early and fall damned late.
