The problem with Scotland, is that it's full of Scots.

My boyfriend's been living there for half a year, and he had splendid weather! Not a lot of rain, quite some sunshine, and a beautiful layer of snow covering everything in the winter. He went from September till February and mostly the weather was better than over here.
I visited Scotland 4 times now, seen the area east and south of Glasgow (Ayr) and Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling. Still want to go up to Inverness some time, but I gave my boyfriend a short break to Scotland for his birthday (we're going in Feb) so we might do that then. Oh, and there's still a fair chance we might both move therre for at least a few years - he to do his PhD, I to do an MA and possibly also a PhD there... As for your question - what do you want to know that you cannot find on Google? Personal tales of what it's like to live there? Clarify!
