Mark, I remember when we weren't so "kinder and gentler" around here. I don't remember excessive trolling. I think we were just more plain spoken and didn't exactly insult people, just said what we thought in a plain manner. I think we got into "tip-toe" mode after 9-11 and the heated debates that it sparked.

All of this, "with all due respect to the gentleman form England, but I disagree with you" sort of gets on my nerves sometimes. I mean we are all adults here (more or less).

But, as you said, Mark, we used to be rougher around the edges.

my only point with the trolling was there hasn't really ever been much trolling around here but when there was it was stopped, even back before time itself.....

Edit: side notes: for all you yung un's out there who don't know who LS is or what the hell a lord raptor islet me a explain, LS, or Lord Sheild was a member of this forum a while back, but he got kicked out after er...i don't know, never asked him. well anyway LS played a char in BG called Lord Raptor. he was a char that had been modified to be a chicken. LS had a web page devoted to bringing you the latest in the lord raptor adventures including how he slew the mighty red dragon, and how he ran away from the even mightier white dragon. thyis was also the same LS who brought you the BG2 bar which dispanded in some mystery. just some background info on IW from the ever-loverble Me. collect all the other IW info trading cards and swop them with your mates!

khaz, the old IW was lots of fun! 'course we were a tad smaller then and everyone was alot closer in terms of knowing one another and our styles so it was harder to 'insult' someone, we just shouted each other down. LOL!

Err... no offense SM, but that wasn't a very smart thing to do, leaving your kids with a young babysitter and doing as much hard alcohol as you described...that kind of incident is sure to follow! But then you did find out the hard way,

I'll just say I'm glad your children weren't injured and your brother seems to have taken his punishment time and learned a lesson, at least you have to hope he has!
