Happy Amazing Story!!! Sometimes animals can be much better than people. You don't see that poor stray dog abandoning her puppies.

NAIROBI, Kenya (AP) — A stray dog saved the life of a newborn baby after finding the abandoned infant in a forest and apparently carrying it across a busy road and through some barbed wire to her litter of puppies, witnesses said.

My thought is that the dog thought of the little lump of meat as a nice meal for her own puppies, and dragged the baby all the way to her nest.

Rescue ? I don't think so, it was dinner, and they stole it from her.

As bad as it sounds... I think Johnny is on the mark with this one. Not saving the baby from the forest, more like saving the baby for dinner.

I hate "heartwarming" stories like this with the fire of a thousand suns. Fakey good news for the brain-dead anchors to read to brain-dead audiences.

If it was food would the dog not have killed it first before feeding it to her puppies, and food that they want saved they usually bury. Maybe it was teaching them to hunt?
Perhaps, but i simply can't believe that the dog was trying to rescue the baby. It's hard enough for humans in that country to get some food, imagine what it must be like for a stray dog.

If the dog was trying to rescue the baby, why did it drag the child straight through barbed wire instead of around it?

Yeah...let's hear some more graphic detail about those car-bombs in Iraq instead...

Who needs feel good news?

OK, I was unneccesarily sarchastic, I apologise. But still, I wouldn't mind listening to news like this rather than the usual scare-mongering sutff the news reports keep droning on about.
Heh... For once, it wasn't me?

No, that's a valid response, I think. I was in a horrid mood when I wrote that, and thought of, "...and he made his third infant victim's skin into a vest. ::idiotic grin:: On the lighter side today, we have a heartwarming tale of a dog saving a baby's life. Here's a picture of the baby behind me, looking adorable. We'll now talk about how precious that one life is, ignoring all the other death in the world for a moment."

I hate news anchors. Can'cha tell?
