I am sure this question has been asked before BUT.I trained all 6 crew with stealh all level 96.I started off with 3 Rogues 1 Ninja 2 Bishops. The bishops got heal wounds needed for the training and paralyse to kill the giant crab.Once I had done, and got promotion option I changed only the 2 Bishops to Ninja,so now I was ready to start the training.I decided to use the dead end hich contains the big red button to open the door to upper monastry .In this tunnel lives 6 bugs.I was too weak to fight Gregor so I raced passed him and got safely to the bug chamber.Trained the 6 crew in stealh ,snuck out passed Gregor ,Killed some slimes, got all crew to level 3 ,Changed the crew to what I really wanted them to be.2 bishops 1 F.F.Ninja, 2 Samurai,1 Bard. All now having 96 stealth.Right now I am level 9 working on getting C of C.Now for my Question It dosnt seem to me that the crew has gained any benefit with all that stealth My crew still take a pounding.Whats wrong here ?????? Ive found it better to spend that extra time and get your stealth up to the full 100.
A few points really makes a difference... With 100 stealth on all the monsters really dont swing at you much at all!

yah, i mentioned this recently here, the difference between a party with all 100's in stealth, and one with just one 99 is vast. Everyone gets hit more, and you can't sneak around nearly as well. Even though the last couple points take as much time as the first 98, it's worth it. (by then , they're hard enough to hit you can take a nap and let them practise on autocombat without you)

With an all stealth party, monsters often will stand around definding, instead of attacking someone. If they attack, the +9 AC will increase the chance they miss, but if they hit, they do normal damage.
I don't like stealth training. I did it with my fighter-bishop duo, and the game became quite boring later. If you think the monsters hit you too much, why not just change the difficulty to normal (or even easy). This also makes the game much easier, and doesn't use up that much time. |
