My druid can wear (spoiler)

I found a weird armour on a field in nashkel, the ankegg, It clearly states that the druid cannot use it. But i tried anyway. It fits perfect, it even changes its apearance alittle, the shoulders gets pointy, and the annoying pink colour is gone. Its amour class is 0, and i did alittle research, its the best armour a druid can wear in any bg game (bg1+exp,bg and tob).
I suddenly started to feel like a cheater. Why can i use it? I do not think it's a bug. The druid is supposed to be able to use armour that comes from nature, and the ankegg is definetly from nature....

I think it's just a sorta 'bug'. True, they probably should be able to wear it, but was marked as unusable because its actual name is 'Ankheg Plate Mail+1'. There was a similar bug in IWD where a certain short bow was listed as being unusable by thieves, but they could anyways since it was a short bow. I doubt there is a fix for it, and I really don't think its 'cheating' as it is more that likely supposed to be usuable by Druids.

It certainly works in BG2!
