Did anybody killed melissan?
I mean .. easly,
it's because every one i know with the exception of one killed her with cheats.
I am Sorcerer in shadows of Amn but in throne of Bhaal i played as a fighter and she always killed me when she summuned the elder orbs and did some time stops.
They say that when you finish you can become a god and leave the mortal realm and if choose to be a mortal then you live like one and loose your godly powers and.

But as you can deduce i haven't reach the end of shadows of Amn, but that is because i didn't wanted to (you must be thinking that i am a stupid for not finish the game yet).
Is that i just wanted to be sure with which race and class should i play and i just tried so many and played so many times that i am a little tired of it, but now i am sure that i want to be a Sorcerer and i must hurry up because neverwinter is coming...

I definately didnt kill her EASILY any of the times ive finished it, and she would have slaughtered me everytime If you couldnt rest b4 the finally slog [img]smile.gif[/img]

I found that I couldnt rest before the final fight... I couldnt rest at all. This made the last one really hard, but i did it in the end...

You actually CAN rest in her area, but you need to cast Wish (or Limited Wish, I think) to do it.

I've only killed her once, and that was with cheese, not cheats. I'd just gone through ToB and kept getting more and more ticked off at how the game no longer pretends to be fair: Yaga-Shura will summon an infinite amount of enemies. Kill Sendai 7 times and she still ain't dead. Draconis can turn Invisible once per second, wasting all the spells you just cast at him. Abazigal seems to have permanent Critical Strike. Balthazar seems to be able to do whatever the hell he wants, etc, etc. So by the time I got to Amelysan, I was ticked as how the game was cheating so much, so I deliberately killed her in the cheapest, cheesiest, most munchkin way I could think of: I finally had Jan cast Project Image and stack a bunch of Traps on her spawn point. Die, you incredibly irritating bitch.

Ay! The game says you are destined to be the most powerful Bhaalspawn, but it seems as though you have to pull every trick you know out of your sleeve and then some. A dash of cheese, some abuse of AI, etc... ... If you try playing 'fair' when you are soloing, you will most likely end up dead before you even get to touch Jon Irenicus.

That said, my solo Sorcerer had a 'fun' time with Melissan. Using my series of tactics involving Project Image, I had a unlimited source of spells.

PI + Wish = No need to rest anymore!

PI + Skeleton Warriors and Planetars = Unlimited number of summons.

She isn't that hard. Ranged weapons will do the trick.

I usually take care of her easily

3 figthers (f.x me, Keldorn, Minsc) with greater Whirlwind
Spellcaster in back
Summoned monsters to take care of hers
