On my second time through ToB, I wanted to try a paladin, or a Cavalier, to be more specific.
And things go very good, until I come to Melissan.
My Carsomyr +6 doesnt deal any damage to her! How high must your weapons be if she shall take damage? My last elven ranger took her quite well, with scimitars, I think.
How do I kill her with my paladin?

I think, Mellisan uses protection from magical weapons. Try breach.
I kill her with Sarevok (Ravager +6) and my berserker (Foebane +5 and axe +5).

I took her with Ravager+6 and Carsomyr +6,so I think that it must be the protection from magic weapons spell.

Remember she does a lot of stone skins a top of that =p
Protection from magic weapons is soooo~ very aggrivating, but keep at it (what else are you gonna do? ^^)

As a precaution - don't go into that fight unless you're loaded with every useful potion or scroll you can get your hands on. When your HP are low, you're out of spells and you've till got two major foes and their cohorts to smash through, having those reserves are a wonderful thing. Guzzle those healing potions like no tomorrow!
