Valen question (no spoilers if you know who Valen is)...

For those of you who have the Valen MOD (& yes, I searched on the Valen board first, but you try searching on 'Valen drained', 'level drain', 'Valen immunities', etc. & see if it actually narrows your search any... [img]smile.gif[/img] )

Ok... so... how is that Valen got level-drained while fighting certain undead (in Bodhi's Lair, heading south towards Korgan/Edwin's quest areas, if that helps)? Is this standard or am I missing something here (my first time through with the Valen MOD)? Shouldn't she have Negative Plane Protection naturally?

It's not a big inconvenience, just more of a surprise, I suppose...

Surprising indeed... In my games, Valen seems to be immune to Level Drain... [img]graemlins/1ponder.gif[/img]

Is she really level drained - as in, you can see it in her Record screen?
It's quite possible that the creature who level drained her used a different "op-code" than the regualer level drain - and Valen isn't immuned to its Icon.

I can't speak for Valen, but I know that normal Vampires aren't immune to Level Drain. I took a jaunt down to Bodhi's pad the other night, and hit a cluster of them with a couple of False Dawns, which makes all Undead in the area effect become Confused for one round. They started smackin' each other up, and I noticed that they were Level-Draining each other. I didn't really note down whether they were Fledgling Vampires or the more powerful versions, though.
