Valen/Thief Stronghold SPOILERS

Hi there.

I'm going through a game at the moment and have completed the 'stronghold' quest for Renal Bloodscalp.

However, I turned down the offer as I have no intention of using the thief stronghold.

I approached mistress Bodhi with full intention of taking her up on her offer... but... she states she has no interest in working with such a dedicated thief???

WTF???

Anyone know how I can sort this mess out so I can do the 'Bodhi' quests rather than the thief ones?

is your main character a thief? i understand Bodhi won't work with a PC thief

I would guess that, given the lack of responses, nobody's entirely sure. Why don't you go into SK, load up a game before you went to talk to Bodhi, change your PC's class, and try again?

Barring that, I have no idea.

I'll 2nd that suggestion. I can't find any GLOBAL variable that looks like it would affect Bodhi's offer, so it must be a state check when you talk to her (i.e. something in the script along the lines of IF PC = Thief THEN [I-won't-work-with-you-dialogue]) rather than something you can control externally. Go with Illumina's suggestion of changing your class to something non-Thiefy, then change it back afterwards.

I'm almost positive that it is impossible to side with Bodhi if you are a thief. She is at war with the thieves, why do you think she would trust one?
