I have synaesthesia, and you have to hear the sound for it to have colour.

I have synaesthesia, albeit a mild case.

It is the experience of duel sensory experience, but is still reliant on the receiving senses receptors working.

If you experience colors with sound, you still only "see" the color upon hearing the sound. My statement, "you have to hear sound" still stands. The associated colors are a dual sensation, not replacing sensation.

what people's experience with the creator? who of us was around 4.5 billion years ago when the Earth was created, to be able to claim personal experience with the creator?
that must be some collective memory, to be passed down from the most primitive of organisms all the way to homo sapiens 4.5 billion years later.

that every culture has a creation myth only shows that humans, inquisitive beings that we are, have always tried to understand our origins and our place in the world. what couldn't be explained within the framework of the current knowledge would be ascribed to the supernatural or the divine. it also reveals a common flaw in human thinking, that every complex natural phenomenon must have some conscious force directing it.
give nature some credit, it's capable of creating miraculous things all on it's own...

photos [/QUOTE]I saw still pictures. I didn't see any moving sound waves carrying information. I wasn't moved by any melody I saw or understood any word. They're just still pictures.

Were you at my recording sessions? Were you able to witness it being made or can you learn about me through listening to it? As an artist creating, I recognise a creative work. It's really really really obvious. And the more I create, film, photo, sound, picture, the more obvious it is that the world is an artwork of creative expression.

I simply disagree with you, yet am able to learn from you and all you diiscover. Yet you shut your mind to what I learn and discover. Who is more benefitted? That's up to you.

Interesting that you claim to understand what happened at creation point despite not being there, yet do not accord theists the same latitude in claiming to understand the creator despite not being there.

One difference. We say the creator IS, not was.

Well, then maybe you could benefit from your own advice and learn what the word "theory" represents in science? Because it might be difficult to learn anything from scientific discoveries otherwise.
