Hmm - I did notice the different viewport, but I wasn't sure!

I don't have Paintshop myself...

Yep, that is indeed even more impressive. I never dared that, although it should not be much more effort than changing the wall format...

I personally don't need the Paintshop Pro action, but it sounds very interesting!

What do you mean by "crisp"? Looking good in a 640x480 window? Or looking bad?

Crisp means that it will look even better than it does now. It will look as 'crisp' as the higher resolution art - at least when it's viewed in a window. Nothing will change with full screen option, which is okay by me, as I think it looks pretty darn good.

Hmm - crisper but smaller, right?

Yup.

Reading Paul's posts elsewhere (or maybe they wee emails), I gather he is going to work on this as soon as he hears from Richard. There is a general graphics error tied to using a specific version of DirectX, and updating to a more recent one would eliminate this and allow for windowed play (there is coding involved too). It may be that this wipes a couple of level 9 bugs along the way - which would be great for everyone.

Windowed playing would definitely be a nice option! Might make more people interested in playing DC, too.

I agree. Though, I always play in full screen for everything, unless it's solitaire.

When I was first playing around with DC code, windowed gaming was one of the things I looked into. I got it to work, however the window was stuck in the top left of the screen and you couldn't move it. Other than this small hiccup, it worked fine.

Hopefully Paul can do something with it, then. He seemed to know what needed to be done, he just wanted to check with Richard first...

Re- hijacking this thread back to what it was originally , I put all my porjects on hold after determining that there was a security issue with my computer. Now, I've ran Malwarebytes to clean it and it found and removed the problems I had. And since it has been running better. I hope to somehow prove that it is clean and I can resume and share files.

Anyone know how to prove your computer is clean of malware?
