That's right...I talked him out of killing Saerk. When he took the test with rep 15, he passed. (Upon reloading) We killed a shopkeeper to lower rep to 9. The knight said something about that we've done good deeds, but not enough, so Anomen did not pass the test. I wonder what would've happened if we would've had an evil rep (like 6 or below)? I'll have to try that!
My question still stands...Upon failing, Anomen get's royally PO'ed, and want's to go fight the knights. If you let him, what happens? Does he leave and die, or what?

I don't get how anyone can hate a fictional character, I mean, they're not real. Besides, I feel like I need to defend the characters because I like them.
Aerie: What makes her the way she is? Well let's consider her life. She helped a little boy, only to end up a slave, and her wings were cut off. She's similiar to anyone who has lost a limb, have you ever lost a limb? I haven't, but I do know, that it's one of the WORST feelings anyone can have. Now imagine being able to fly all of your life. Imagine how good it felt. Now, imagine not being able to do it anymore, all of that freedom gone, you can no longer do something that came so natural. I'd feel cheated. In a way, I'm glad that I myself could never walk because I'm pretty sure I'd be some cynical person if I remembered what walking is like, but Muscular Dystrophy never allowed me to walk. Aerie has gone through something traumatic, of course she's going to be the way she is. However, she improves, and she develops as a character in the game. You can't very well say someone is whiney if you yourself haven't been in a situation like that. I mean, would you accuse someone of being whiney if they lost their legs doing something good? Just put yourselves in someone's shoes. Anomen: This guy has had a crappy life. His dad is a drunk, his mom is dead, and his sister is dead too. He's had to go through TONS of mental abuse, and tons of crap for not being so rich and stuff. Anomen is a product of his environment, he strives to be better, because all he has EVER seen is the bad in life. All he's seen is what his dad is like, and he wants to be nothing like that. So the best he can do is be a little self-righteous. You just have to think about what situations caused a character's personality, because situations do form personalities.

Eh.....guys
You do realize that they are JUST a bunch of numbers. The teachers at my school would be leaping with joy if we could analyze the people from David Copperfield ( spelled right?) like we do with BG. Made that should be a new subject. The studies of NPC in BGII or something? As for once I have to agree, I played as a male once and found that Arie complined a whole lot more then Anomen did to my female. But it wouldn`t be any fun if life was just perfect. Take your own advice (or was it Gorions) to Jaheria `It`s the past and what we have gone through that makes a person` ( or something like that!) |

Actually, Ive grown to find him very entertaining. Oh sure, hes a pain in the arse, but I find that endearing. At first, when he would just "Tsk...very well..." every time I commanded his character, it was annoying. Now I think its totally funny. And since he is the only real cleric Ive found and a significant portion of the campaign deals with vampires and the undead, and hes got that 18/52 STR...well hes close to indispensible..at least thru the middle of the game. Plus...if you ever need a party member to "take one for the team", I enjoy volunteering anomen.
The one who really grinds me is Keldorn. Hes so uppity and goody, goody...if he wasnt the only one that can use that stupid +5 holy sword(or wait...can mazzy use that thing?ah well shes just as annoying)...I would have left him in the planar prison. |
