I can't understand why Weimer felt that Thieves should be capable of casting high-end Cleric spells, especially when the party is likely to have much better Saves than the Bandits themselves. Ah, well, it all works out the same.....they die, I collect loot & go home.

Also, it seems to be a (relatively) common bug for enemy spellcasters to fire beneficial spells at YOU instead of at themselves or their allies. I have a screenshot from the de'Arnise Keep, of a Yuan-Ti Mage granting Anomen some Healing and Extra Strength Modification. "Thank You!"
