4. Focus, so I can stay on task

I must say, that I've been motivated to work on my own designs. I've really worked on Legacy of the Silver Blades quite a bit, and now have a ton of new art that I need to do...but I do have almost all of the areas figured out, a good hook for the story and some good characters. I will have some challenges in figuring out how to make DC do some of the things I want it to do, but maybe by the time I am to that point, someone else will have done them.

Ha ha... I think that you (manikus) do more work on DC than anyone else here - your problem is a unique one, that where you are working on too many designs at once to ever get one finished!

(Of course, doing the events and logic is the hardest and last part, where we all probably stumble and get stuck...)

Sometimes, I waste a whole afternoon working on a big pic. A big pic that is for the 800x600 resolution and pixel art. I'm going bug-eyed now.

Now, I guess I'll have to wait for some mods to judge, since my eyes won't be doing any art for a bit.

Or, how about, "The sooner people get their submissions in to me, the quicker I can get back to working on Official DC stuff."

Yeesh! I was thinking that I needed to do a title screen of some sort at least... Something simple, though, to avoid the bug eye (just text, or something)

You could always do text with some of your already created art arranged nicely and appropriately...

Ooh, a collage. That term reminds me of grade school and construction paper.

Okay, I know I said no graphics, but my eyes kinda uncrossed long enough to get another wall done for the Silver BLades design.

Wow, how much graphics do you have done already for Silver Blades?

Not a lot. As I've mentioned elsewhere, it's using a different sized viewport and so walls and everything that are resolution dependent have to be a special size. Not a big deal for NPC portraits, I just have to trim them to be square. But, walls are a bit different. And, because I wanted to use the hyper walls, I had to make a new template before I could even start making the walls. I've got so much to do artwise that I try to not think about it.
