Causes of crashing -- tell me what you were doing when it happened.

I think its alls well that it resets after 120 minutes of no one on.

Well dont know if this may help, but here goes... I currently play The Kingdom of Drakkar online also, and to re-leave the lag, they have a crit that looks like jelly cube, this crit goes around the levels eating the stuff left on the corridors. The crit could be none hostile and it's only job would be to cleanup the place after no activity in that area for some time....So I guess I would have competition cleaning up the goodies left behind.......LOL

We tried that on my home server with a trash fairy, but she became a notorious pick pocket, and had to be terminated. A solution we found was to have an area completely empty itself of creatures/drops onexit, and reload fresh creatures on area enter. This seems to greatly reduce the lag, as, as noted, the body bags do tend to create lag, and with as many tend to be left behind, the potential is there for a considerable amount of lag. Also, lag could eventually cause crashes, as the server tries to keep up with both an increased number of players, and left behind drops.

EFU crashed on me again today. This is the second time it as done this.

1.I was looking at goods at drow merchant and durran's
2. lvl 13 and tavern
3.no battle
4. 38
5. no idea
6. yes i was veiwing items and with i click on mics it crashed. both times
7. no hechmen

Not sure if im missing anything, like hakpaks or so.

Was it a server crash or a client crash.

By this I mean when you logged back on were you in the same place or had the server reset you back to the inn?

I think yesterday's crash might be down to me.

I was trying to buy the Belt of Storm Giant Strength from Durnan's store. Whenever any character of mine tries to buy this item it slows the mod down and sometimes I get disconnected/timed out. Usually I just log back in and the belt is in my inventory.

Once in a while I get timed out and the server crashes and resets. Yesterday was one of those times.

It only ever happens with that one item.

When I logged back in, I was in the same area I was in. It did not sent me back to the inn. I wanted to know what could be causeing it to crash on me.

Hmmm thats definatly a client crash. I have no idea what could be causing a client crash just by looking at the misc tab.

All I can recommend is reinstalling the CEP and see how that goes. The only reasn I resommend that is the MISC tab usually has a few custom CEP icons so that could be causing it.

I have had a similar probem.

This was with the video card.

If reinstalling the CEP doesn't work try downloading the latest update.
