This may help me find the cause.

Fill the template out as follows:


1. What was your character doing at that time?
2. What level were you on?
3. If in battle, what spells were being used. Were there loads of area effect spells active? (Cloud Kill, and such)

4. What Level is your Character?

5. If you know what another player was doing, what was it?
6. Were you viewing items in a store? Selling?
7. Did you have a henchmen with you at the time? If so, Who?

Add other stuff if you see fit. Just wanna nail down this new crashing bug as soon as possible.

I think the server crashed when I purchased the battlehammer belt from Durnan the other day. There were only two other people online at the time and I wasn't sure what they were doing.

Yes I was buying the Battlehammer belt from Durnans Store.

7. Did you have a henchmen with you at the time? If so, Who? No

I'd just logged on after a four hour break. The server crashed almost immediately, I don't think that it was Turbak's presence that did it though.

P.S. This was the 1700hrs GMT crash

This was your client crashing. The way to tell, is if you try to come back in, and the server isn't up. You have a windows pop up, right?

No, the server was down for a while after that. I've had client crashes before. It was just a coincidence that I logged on at that moment. Disregard my post, I was there but was blameless on this occassion.

btw there are still coloured items around to pick up. I bought one from Durnan, could that be one of the problems?

Server seems totally screwy atm (12am GMY sunday 14th - my character is totally invisible and seems to be swapped with anothere character I don't even have - level character - trying to explore land of shadows (gave up in the end as couldn't do a thing)

Btw any chance of having a timed reset on server as if there's ppl on all the time it just gets laggier and laggy with all the loot left etc - or even a clean script that runs if no-one in the actually zone would reduce the problems

The server automatically resets as soon as the last character log's off. So as soon as there is no one on it resets.

No, it doesn't do that anymore. It will only reset when it's been empty for 120 mins now. [img]smile.gif[/img] I THOUGHT I had that setting right, but checking the INI, and there it was, set on.. grrr.

All's well as in it resets after 2 hours of empty or well as in it resets as soon as it's empty?
