Hey Raistlin, I don't come here often, too busy with NWN most of the time, but was looking for something and showed up here, because of the post title. I always did like cheese.

hi all...

what's really amazing is I didn't know this one...the point about project image being invulnerable to true sight if the caster is out of range...

well, even i learned something today...and it will definately make it into the next version of the cheese guide...if and whenever i get around to it..

If you cast mislead and if the clone is beyond the range of a true sight, your invisibility cannot be dispelled, or true sighted...i had no idea the same was for project image...

awesome...and i thought i knew everything about project image..

but like i said, its amazing i missed this...of course i knew about the mislead clone, but the project image???

i thought only spell immunity and boots of preservation was the only way to protect from true sight...

but be warned...dispell magic will still kill clones and images, spell immunity abjuration will NOT protect you,

and death spell will kill clones, images and simmy...deathward will NOT protect you...

and i wrote the cheese guide...

I think you may misunderstand-- Project image does not negate true sight on its own since there is no invisibility to negate. What I said was that I cast project image, then have the image cast mislead and wizard's eye. With this done, the image can walk forward (with the eye) and be impervious to true sight.

[/QUOTE]true sight kills projected images...its an illusion spell, and therefore dispelled by true sight...its not the mislead that protects you...or is it???hmmm...will have to experiment...thankfully, with tactics mod installed and smarter mages, ribauld casts true sight every time you walk in the adventure mart...but certain things i now remember leads me to think that just an image will be protected from true sight...
