Hmm, well first, theifprowess, Come back to reality you say? And how exactly do you uggest he do that?
![]() If it is possibl;e to come away from reality then is reality all that real?? I'd ask that of all of you, many have said we can prove somehow or another that we are real, just like Calaethis said Neb was real, but what exactly is real? Is reality all that real? Or is reality an elaborate fantasy in which we percieve our dreams or other such things as a vivid imagination. Who knows how complex it could be, we could all be imagined by one person who imagines that we have an imagination and therefore imagine we are imagining things.

It may sound odd, but this reminds me of the episode of Red Dwarf, Better than life, the program that grants them their ultimate dreams turns on them because Rimmer has a complex so that he actually tries mentally to punish himself. ![]() If everything was imagined, who syas the person wouldn't include bad things, and if we lived in a Utopia, we wouln't even recognise the concepts of bad and good. ![]()

I dunno Talthyr, but I, for one, do not believe in this whole "Imagination" buisness.

Simple answer to Willard's question: What is life without challenge?
![]() A perfect life with no bad things would grow boring, fast. You cannot spot good when there is no bad, everything would just be a big grey mess, rather than a ton of goodness. |

Yes, but tellitubbies are not really a challenge, are they? Anyway, I believe that the minds and worlds and problems of everybody on just Earth would be too much for a single humam mind to comprehend, seeing that a person only uses about 10 pecent of his or her entire brain, but the universe? That is a little much. Also, everybody is "me" to themselves, how do you explain that, if every "me" is something and everything else besides that "me" is a figment of the imagination, if they are all "me"s too!

and you guys take a simple topic of existence and bend it outta wack. do you think 50 years ago people would have had this conversation? let alone 200 years. you have so much TV that influences the way you think and do now its ridiculous. the fact that we were given the right to think has already been abused as it is. since we have been given this great gift of thought why is it you bitch about wether or not you exist? omg you got prolly 30 people on this topic alone bitching about it. you would thing that 30 people bitching about a topic like this it would make some kinda sense that yes we exist. science proves it and yes even religion proves it why cant you accept the fact and rack your brains on something else?

Unless you're sayiong that the Ancient greeks also had television. And no, we are not "bitching" about it, if you don't like the debate, no one is forcing you to sit here and bear it, stay if you wish to, don't stay of you don't want to, it's as simple as that. Also, no science does not prove it, and neiother does religion, or anything else. ![]()
