Hehe... US money has more in common with cloth than paper. It's a funky blend using cotton, I don't know if there's even any wood pulp in it. The reason it's so flexible is because it really ISN'T much like paper.

I've still got my Ultima cloth map too... they were kindof a neat prop for the game.

I've got a starware game (Brothers in Arms) and with a little experimentation I found that you can install the game in a way that the starforce driver is never actually run.

1) Install the game... at the end it will tell you that you need to reboot in order to play the game (the reboot is required to fully install the starforce driver), say NO.

2) Install the "No-CD" hack, I'd guess it will be available within a day or so of the games release.

3) Run the Starforce remover application.

4) You're done... you can now run the game without ever having the starforce driver active on your system. (no reboot is required).

- If you have a system that may be susceptable to some of the starforce issues (around RAID corruption and such)... I'd still recommend a backup before doing anything starforce related, just to be on the safe side, but this solution SHOULD prevent starforce from ever being active, so it SHOULD protect your arrays from that crappy software.

You can buy 20% 36% 44% 56% 75% & 88% cloth &
wood fiber High strength paper from paper and
print companies. I have some 75% silk & Cotton
Blend Degree & Document high Quality paper used
in making Deplomas that works well for reprinting
maps on. The stuff I bought is legal size and my
printer uses standard size paper so I just cut it
down a little.
Today I tried something and washed three sheets
in the clothes Washer and then put it in the Dryer
with some Bath towels. 1 sheet tore in two and
the other two came thru pretty good just very rinkled.
Next, I used my wifes Iron and ironing board and
Ironed the two remaining full sheets flat.
Then even though they were now flat again they were
still flexable like cotton sheets but slightly firmer.

( I have to much time on my hands right now )

I loaded a single sheet in the printer and then
I printed a map of Guild wars on it and other
than the fact it is too small to really use in game
it came out pretty darn good and I didn't need the
Iron-on Paper to transfer the map to the paper I just
used my printer.

The whole process took about 7 hours but it worked.

I *need* a cloth map.
NO offence but from what you said about the Morrowind map it sounds
like, even if your map was printed on stainless steel you'd find a
way to scratch the print off the steel. So, in your case I think you
really need to get some leggos and forget about computers altogther.

Oh!! and please, never enter my house I'd have to shoot you!!!!!!
