First, what are you normal defensive, group casts when going into a tough battle? Aid, Bless, Haste, Protection from Evil, ect.....
Also, when fighting spell happy groups or individuals that alter their state with spells. Besides Dispell Magic, is there anything better? Lastly, has anyone found a fast and effective way to kill a Lich? Thanks, Axis |

From what I've experienced as a mage so far, try to have at least one greater malision spell memorised. This helps if you're trying to get some of your own spells in such as chaos or domination.
A useful tactic that I have learnt from fighting loads of cowled wizards (damned green law-abiders) is to cast mass invisibility on yourself and your party, making magic users absolutely useless because they can't cast spells on sanctuaried or invisible characters!!! Try to have more than one mass invisibility because those pesky wizards and other magic users tend to have true sight and dispel magic tucked away somewhere. Experiment yourself to see what works. Good Luck! |
