Hi all. I have the same problem - Z'Ant keeps attacking me when I bring the prisoners to him. I did the quests, but not all of one and then all of the other, as has been suggested. I also gave both T'Rang and Umpani letters to the Mook. Is this what is stopping me? Yamir doesn't mind, but Z'Ant is seriously unhappy. Any advice?

As a separate question, if Z'Ant is just going to be permanently unhappy, is there any reason why I shoudln't just wipe him and the rest of the T'Rang out? I assume I can still report to Yamir and finish.

i think i have a problem bigger than you have.i have discussed i many times but no one gives the answer i want.i am at that time when umpani order me to destroy the teleport ship.can you tell me where is the teleport machine and what to do with it and the trang tell me to destroy the umpani and i neither know what to do about it.i have killed kunar for the flag.now tell me do i need to do these quests for the alliance trang-ump. or something else.

You MUST NOT do either of these missions if you want to form alliance.

With Kunar dead, you CAN'T do the 'destroy ship' anyway.

Ruins the chance for an alliance, but if you want to side with the Umpani,
The path to the trang teleporter is through the 'backside' of LMB: from the mine tunnels or the back stairs near the arrow shooting room, find the room with a green slime pool in the middle, open the doors around the outside. One of these refuses to open, another will get you an pulse pick.

Use the pulse pick to get into the door that won't even let you try to open it. This takes you to a back hall way that gives you access to the teleport control and Zant, case you want to take him out. THere is another 'door' [doesn't look like one, but will give you the 'hand' cursor] that allows you into the elevator room-- you may need to pulse pick that, too, can't remember.

Its a good idea to open these doors just for the sake of getting around: no problem, so long as you don't mess with the teleporter or attack Z'ant...

Tuckboy,

If you cannot get Zant to be happy then you might as well take him and the Trang out. At least you will make the Umpani happy and get some bonus XP.

Addition to Oruboris' explanation:

Maybe the teleporter control station (Nargisst Command IIRC) won't let you change any setting. In this case, go to the northmost room in this area, and flip a switch on a big control panel to red.
(Maybe you've already done this. I normally flip all switches, even if i don't know what they do)
