this hasnt been addressed yet in the forum, i currently finished the stout mines armor quest and only got 1 set of armor, i accidentally gave both metal ores i had to him at same time, how many sets are required to make it into the dragon spire without loss of life? i know my warlock cant wear the armor i just hope he can survive somehow. also can i steal the metal ore from the king to make more or is the ore used up and not in his posession any more? thanks all

The bronze beast is not THAT hard, i found that if i selected a character (as active)when i did this and if that character had no armor then he would take damage from the flames, when i then selected a protected character, the other character didnt take damage which is another example of the strange dynamics of this game. U should give the armor to your priest or monk so he can ressurect anyone if they die, but i dont think they will. p.s i think there are a possible 5 or 6 suits of armor to be acquired in the stout mines.
he makes two, he has ore himself which if u steal he will make 1 more, he carries dragonarmor so if u kill him or steal it, and there is 1 or 2 suits in his private vault. Good Luck \> |

You can also keep stealing the ore back from the king while he makes your armor. Then, as soon as he finishes one set of armor, give him the ore again and he will make you another, ad infinitum. The armor sells for a pretty penny, and you can exploit the fact that you can sell the armor at the store for more than it costs to buy it back. (Instant money maker). Unless you consider that a cheat and you are against cheating...

The selling and buying back of items that cost less than they sell for, IMO, isn't a "cheat"...at least, not the same type as the Inn Gold Bug cheat. Normally I'm against cheating of any form, but as ridiculously dependent as this game is on exorbitant amounts of gold to do anything, I say do what you can.
And a big happy birthday to you, Dr. Orangutan! ![]() -Sazerac |

wow thanks gang,
i got my thief to finally steal quite a few times and i sold 2 sets of the dragon armor (worth mucho denaro) ![]() P.S. ever notice how you sometimes have to give away items for ,dumb newbie quests like the crypt had a ring for a quest and that sword ,and you get a measly 500 exp or so for it ,id personally rather have kept it but then you cant advance to higher rank for training skills oh well. I GOT THE MAVIN IT ROCKS THOUGH !!!! |
