I'm confuse between these two english term. are they the same thing or different type of oil altogether? I need to put some engine oil on my car but this thing my friend bought for me says Caltex Motor Oil.

Yes i'ts the same thing.
But what you should be checking is the specs. is it 10w/40w or 20w/50w ect. This really only matters in a new car in a very hot or cold country. otherwise it does not matter. What does matter is changing the oil often. [ 07-04-2003, 09:22 AM: Message edited by: wellard ]
