Default Any way to prevent prt_Spic1.png and cn_Icon1 from reappearing/being overwritten?

I'm guessing it has something to do with the testing mode, since Super Spud uses the default versions of them every time. Running the game without the editor open doesn't have any problems, but running it for testing or otherwise does.

There is a line towards the very top of the config.txt that is responsible for this. It tells the editor and engine where to find the art that is called for in the design that may be missing from the design folder, i.e. to look in the Default Art folder.
It will read something like:
Default_Resources = C:\Progra~1\DungeonCraft\DefaultArt

I don't recommend deleting it, instead put // at the left of the line to make it a comment. You can see that many lines in this sectin of the config.txt are commented out.

I tried commenting it out, but then whenever I tried playtesting the game would crash immediately. Hmm...

This must be a bug. The editor is only supposed to look for "default resources" when it can't find them in the design folder. Each time we save the design, it's supposed to copy all files used into the design folder - the idea being someone can play the game design without the editor or any other resource folders.

I just tried doing this and got an error when I tried to apply the modified config.txt. I clicked okay each time and then was able to continue with testing the design.

I thought it might have something to do with Super Spud, but that info isn't in the DefaultArt folder - unless there is something hard-coded into the editor that says to look in the "default_resources" folder for the icon and portrait for the test character.

You should have no problem with this testing from the start. But, I know it's always convenient or practical to test from the beginning.
