And is it possible to catch it from America somehow? Even if you aren't close to Canada I mean. Don't certain satellites catch all kinds of international stations? How do these work and how much do they cost, does anyone know?

Should be possible to order it from any local cable company or satellite provider. I doubt it would be shown otherwise in the US. Florida may have enough viewers to provide it as a regular channel but I doubt it because even Canadians don't watch CBC

Pritchke has a good point not many american are into cornation street. The one good thing is that we have hockey night in Canada. I heard there contract is up soon. I hope they keep it going. If they do not I fear for CBC.

Yeah it's my guilty pleasure. It is huge in the UK and Ireland. Men, women, old and young people alike all watch it here. I guess because it focuses on real life rather than those american soaps that are all fake and overacted.

You can get it in Detroit, I know... Channel 9 on regular TV. I'm pretty sure I've gotten it in Buffalo as well... not sure about any remote options.
