Welcome to IW!

I like all the BG2 ones except for Cernd, Yoshimo, Aerie and Anomen (the characters, not their combat abilities etc.) Favorite is Jan, cause his dialogues are really funny, especially the ones you get when you wait a quarter/half an hour. Next is Minsc with Boo.

For the rest I don't know cause I don't have BG.

Good:

Edwin-Powerful mage.
Jan-Good mage and excellent trap finder/dissarmer.
Amomen-Very good cleric.
Jaherie-Insect plague is good for dealin with mages and groups.
Keldorn-Slaughters demons with that paladin sword. Also true site and dispell magic thrown in.
Valygar-Good duel wielding the better magical swords.
Viconia-Very good Cleric
Nalia-Ok mage, not as good as edwin by a long way.

Bad:
Minsc-Tends to die alot with me. Maybe just my style.
Ariel-Pointless characted can't be bothered with.
Yoshimu-Waste of time.
Imoem-Useless and whines alot.
Heir Darlis-Not interested in bards but have been told he's good in throne of Bhall. Have to find out sometime.
