Going to Deutchland, any tips?

Greetings and Salutations all! I know I'm not a regular poster anymore, but rest assured, you are all still fondly in my heart! My wife and I are traveling to Germany at the end of the month and I was wondering if anyone had any tips on places to visit while we're there? We're all ready hitting Linderhoff and Neuschwanstein, plus visiting Dachau, but it's been 12 years since I was there and I don't remember all the great places to visit. Post to your hearts content!

Dachau? Is that the one near Hannover? I´m going to Han in early April.

But since it´s my first trip to germany I don´t have any tips.

Actually, Dachau is just north of Munich, but "A" for effort! Hehehe, btw, I like the Sabbath quote. Not too many people are familiar with the Dio era of Sabbath...

If you're going to be in the vicinity of Munich, maybe Borvik can give you a few good tips. He lives there.

Avoid Bahn, but check out Köln (Pronounced Chologne by other cultures) It has a tremendouse Cathedral there and an ancient roman culture museum. Great place to visit especially during winter due to the atmosphere created by the snow and the many flee-market shops. [img]smile.gif[/img] I also recomend Berlin, kickass mall there and great culture, though the last time I went there Russian soldiers who never pulled out were sitll selling their belt buckles to buy their way back to Moscow [img]tongue.gif[/img] I dont know what shape it's in now...
