Is there anyway to bypass the traps that shoot out of the wall and crush your people?

They cant be detected either!

I know what your talking about. They do horrendous amounts of damage. One of my characters, literally was blasted into pieces...big gooey chunks.
I tried spells, the thief and nothing seemed to work. I would be interested as well since I have just restarted BG. I tried looking for a map of the level in the Ironworks maps for Durlags Tower, but it just shows the map for the outdoor area.

Access to some of the areas in Durlag's Keep are keyed to possessing different Dwarven Runestones...seems I remember having a number of these taking up inventory slots while here. Maybe that's what you're missing. I don't recall any crushing walls, maybe it's because I had all of those damn runestones, and I simply walked past without noticing...it's been awhile since I played.

I have a lot of runestones.

I know it isnt these, cos sometimes the crushers attack, sometimes they dont.

Its weird.

The best way to bypass them is to cast haste, and sprint across.

I had my mage dimension-door across. Then go to the tressure room, and the whole party will be teleported.
