Backstabbing

I was wondering why my stalker can't backstab anymore, I just bought and installed ToB and can't seem to be able to backstab
I tried installing the patch and every Baldurdash fix but it still doesn't work, in SoA I could backstab pretty easily so... does anybody know what can be wrong and how I can fix this?
BTW I'm using celestial fury, but I've tried to backstab with every weapon I have so I don't think that's the problem

Yep, at least I think so, well I think my game is kind of bugged or something, I tried backstabbing with Imoen and she could do it just fine, is anybody having this kind of problems with SoA (without ToB) imported stalkers? Because after that I loaded my brother's game and tried to backstab using Valygar, and well I couldn't either... Later I started another stalker and he could do it just fine...

Pessimistic response but there is a point in ToB where virtually every enemy can see invisible or is impervious to backstabs... it really looses its advantage in ToB.

That isn't the problem either since I was summoning sword spiders and trying to backstab them, and with Imoen it was doing fine... but well I think I already solved the problem, I re imported my game and now I can backstab just fine, all I had already done is lost though

hehe, Assassination works just fine to make chop sewey of Fire Giants.

I think the problem might be your weapon. In TOB they rebalanced some items, like the cloack of miroring. It might be that the weapon you are using lost it's backstabing ability.

Although the cloak can easily be reverted back to its SOA equivalent, quite easily by deleting the Clck26.itm file from the override folder

it only changed items thieves can't use by default, Celestial Fury should work fine, there is a bug noted at baldurdash where if you resurrect a stalker they lose the backstab ability... could that be the problem?
