I've been working on this, and I hear about upgrades for the bikes a lot. How do I upgrade my bike? Can I? Someone please spell out how this works, for me. Thanks!

despite what is said about upgrades in the game, i don't think its possible to do so. you're stuck with the same bike throughout and have to rely on you reflexes getting better instead of the bike

My bro and I have a theory about the swoop upgrades. The developers thought about it and a) decided not to go through with it because most players would rather spend there credits elsewhere, or b) they planned to implement it, but the deadline was coming up so they scratched it.

I really don't know myself, but I like the races just fine without upgrading my bike. I kinda maintains a decent challenge.

Ooohhh, another theory, would the bike upgrades really be worth it if you weren't racing other bikers at the same time on the same track?

There are no, i repeat no upgrades for swoopbikes for sale in KotOR. The Swooprace part is merely an extra feat in the game, like Pazaak, and has nothing to do with the storyline itself, and won't gain you XP, except of course for that one race early in the game in which you represent the Hidden Beks.

As said above there are no ingame upgrades for your bike.

Though if you hate swoop racing and just want the extra credits from winning there is a mod for the PC version that makes the track a straight line with all the booster pads in a straight line.

Strange, whoever besides Dron_Cah, mentioned that there were upgrades. I merely stated a few possibilities as to why swoop upgrades were even mentioned.

Swoop racing was one of the things I adored most about KOTOR. Hard as it maybe it is just fun to put your reflexes to the test. I liked them so much that when I beat the races on all the planets I reloaded my game and raced them all over. You can say I am a little obsessed.
